Top 15 Bars to Enjoy a Great Drink in Bath, UK

If you plan to visit one of England’s most charming cities, you’re in luck—here’s a list of the 15 best bars in Bath. I recently spent two months in Bath and got to explore its vibrant bar scene. Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with plenty of culture, history, shops, and cozy cafes around every corner.

Bath is home to two universities, which contributes to its lively bar scene intertwined with various cultural activities. Whether you’re up for a night out or some daytime drinks, Bath has you covered.

Most of Bath’s popular bars are centrally located, making it easy to walk from one venue to the next. It’s a great city for both a quick getaway and a base to explore nearby British beaches. From quiet craft beer spots to places offering 2-for-1 cocktails, Bath has something for everyone.

Having spent time in Bath with my husband, Rob, we enjoyed discovering new bars, especially those with happy hour deals. Factoring in price, ambiance, happy hour offerings, beer garden quality, uniqueness, and food menus, here are my top picks:
