Meeting up with my good friend Bernie always means two things: lots of beer and plenty of diving! Our trip to Isla Mujeres was no exception, and I couldn’t wait to get back underwater. I teamed up with Squalo Adventures, who took me on six incredible dives. The water was crystal clear, and I saw more fish than ever before!
My favorite spots were Manchones Reef, known for its abundant marine life, and Pilus, famous for its many caves and swim-throughs. Isla Mujeres lies alongside the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest coral shelf in the world. The coral here is incredibly healthy. Just check out the video below!
